Hot Winter - Cool Clothes

Winter is typically associated with cold temperatures, frosty mornings, and icy landscapes. However, a warm winter brings about a completely different experience. We are having extremely warm temperatures this December (+15 Celcius) in southern Alberta. The biting chill is replaced with mild temperatures and a pleasant breeze. Instead of bundling up in layers of thick clothing, I can comfortably venture outside with just a sweatshirt. The absence of snow and ice allows for easier travel and safer driving conditions. I even think the Canadian geese are confused and not using their passports to fly south anytime soon. Overall, this warm winter offers a refreshing break from the usual frigid conditions, allowing my family to enjoy outdoor activities and embrace the beauty of nature without the need for excessive layers of warmth.
