Christmas Sunshine

Christmas was green this year because of the unusually warm weather from El Nino. Even though we are accustomed to having a white Christmas, my family is having a wonderful time feasting on food and family time. We are looking forward to Christmas Eve when all the children, (adults that act like children) come over and spend the night. Christmas morning is filled with the excitement of opening presents and eating some more. Doug's parents drive down from Calgary and we have a lovely afternoon chatting, laughing, and solving the world's problems. But, we always try to remember what Christmas is really about, and that is the birth of Jesus Christ. I am blessed.
